A plus is that the drivers where nice and played country music on the radio and one even was singing! The coffee in the lobby was always there and hot! The slots where mostly fun and I even won a $1600 hand pay. The grounds are so well kept! The shuttle is there every 10 minutes! I didn't like that I had to ride on the shuttle stops from the casino back to the hotel however. The only down side was hearing the door to outside closing all the time. My dog and I LOVED this place! The room was nice and spacious and conveniently located on the first at the end of the hall next to the side exit! I normally like to be on the top floor because I can hear noise above me however there was none of that here and I did not even hear people in the room next to me or even housekeeping when cleaning above me or in the next room except for a bit too much yapyap. The bed was ok but the pillows are literally like ROCKS! When I arrived early after a long drive I did NOT like being reminded that check inn is at 4pm however I WAS given a late check out of 1pm but like I said, what good is it when doors are SLAMMING all morning and all day! TOTAL IGNORANCE is what spoils a usually decent hotel stay! I shouldn't have to tell the 'manager' that housekeeping SLAMS the doors! The do it ON PURPOSE! They want you OUT! At least I have Bose sound cancelling headphones that can take care of the problem but why should I have to wear them! … The water is TERRIBLE and feels soapy all the time, 'hard water'? Half the direct tv channels are blocked but it is what it is. The grounds at this place are nice and the room was fairly clean, less the long hairs I saw stuck to the bottom of the toilet bowl while in the bathtub. The manager said I should of 'called downstairs' but the 'manager' should already have trained her housekeepers not to be idiots! This is WHY I DO NOT tip the housekeepers but 30% to everyone else! The first morning I was actually disturbed at about 1pm when a housekeeper knocked on the door. Anyway, everything was ok/acceptable for the most part except housekeeping CONSTANTLY lets the doors SLAM! After being in the casino until past midnight, it is IMPOSSIBLE to sleep in this place in the morning. I liked the King room I had the last time, better but the room this time was still ok but no microwave. I got a room on the second floor with two queen beds this time because a friend was supposed to fly in from Tampa.
